Waterski | SA Waterskiers ready to show their prowess on the water

Congratulations to Luke Versfeld on representing SA at the E&A U14 Championships. He did extremely well and confirmed himself a serious skier for the future.

Jason Stegmann

Jason Stegmann is a 19 year old student at Stellenbosch University. He has been selected to represent South Africa at the U21 World Waterski Championships in Calgary , Canada in August 2025 in slalom.
He started Sking as a youngster as part of his rehabilitation after 2 years of being immobile in a wheelchair due to an orthopaedic condition.
He was 12 years old when he participated in European and Africa champions U14 slalom in Spain and got 2/13@55 and qualified for his junior SA colours. He has continued to improve his scores and his PB is 4,25/11@58.
He trains at his home in Elgin and Vineyard Lake, Stellenbosch and is coached by Ross Alexander.
