Team SA geared for Para Swimming World Championships 2023
Team SA takes to the water in the 12th edition of the Para Swimming World Championships in Manchester on the back of a strong performance at the 2022 Games in Madeira last year.
On that occasion, the country’s swimmers finished 28th on the overall medals table with four medals – two silvers and two bronzes.
This time round Team SA is represented by six swimmers – Cornelle Leach, Christian Sadie, Nathan Hendricks, Kat Swanepoel, Danika Vyncke and Alani Ferreira.
Here’s a breakdown of how Team SA has fared at these championships in the past. The 2023 event starts on Monday.
