The 2024 World Waveski Surfing Titles presented by Buffalo City Tourism continued with thrilling action on Day 2. The best waveski surfers from around the globe showcased their incredible skills in front of hundreds of enthusiastic supporters at Nahoon Reef.
Top Heat Scores for the Day:
- Men: Cyril Samson (France), the reigning World Champion, scored an impressive 15.93.
- Women: Oceane Baylacq (France) led the women's division with a score of 8.00.
Highest Wave Score for the Day:
- Rees Duncan (Australia): 9.67
Conditions were prime with 2 to 3-foot waves running down Nahoon Reef, accompanied by perfect off-shore winds. The contest zone was bustling with activity, as food stalls and coffee vendors catered to the crowds who came to witness the world-class performances.
Day 3 promises more exciting heats, kicking off with the Grand Legends - Men first round in the water, followed by the Grand Masters - Men, Senior - Men, and the Open Men Repo rounds.
