Surfing | Royal St Andrews Hotel SA Interclub Surfing Champs For Pollock Beach in Gqeberha

Nelson Mandela Bay - Surfing South Africa proudly announces the Royal St Andrews Hotel SA Interclub Championships at Pollock Beach in Gqeberha.

This event will take place on 1 April and is the first event in the Nelson Mandela Bay Surf Fest. It will be followed by the Sea Harvest Pipe Junior SAST event on April 2 - 4th, and the festival will conclude with the Nelson Mandela Bay Pro Junior on April 5 and 6th.

Club surfing is where it all starts, and Surfing South Africa has a fresh focus on clubs and club surfing in South Africa. Surf clubs play a vital role in educating, nurturing, and instilling the correct values and ideologies for young and old surfers and are intrinsic to the growth of our sport.

"One of the strongest pillars in surfing is club surfing, and we are delighted to be getting the National Club Surfing Championships back up and running," said Surfing South Africa General Manager Reza De Nicker. "We are so stoked that Royal St Andrews Hotel has come on board to help us pave the way."
