Surfing | Clutch Fuelled by Monster Energy, presented by VANS, celebrates progressive, high-performance surfing
Round Two of Clutch has seen some amazing rides over the last month. There are a couple of crazy turns, some heavy clutch moments, a few waves with serious combos, and a disproportionate number of entries of crazy backhand barrels in it.
Without wishing to detract from James Ribbink's double-barrel, Chad Du Toit's triple-barrel (both at Supers), and Indie's massive tube in the Ments, the backhand barrels are pure entertainment.
Royden gets a deep one on the South Coast, while Samora's hands-free is sick. Kai gets pitted at Deserts, Scott gets tubed in KZN, and Brad gets an absolute nugget in the Cape.
