All-South African tennis final at African Para Games 2023

South African tennis sensations Alwande Sikhosana and Leon Els have secured their places in the finals of the African Para Games in Accra on Friday to set the stage for an epic all-South African final.

Sikhosana triumphed over Morocco's Siad Himam with an impressive 6-1, 6-0 win. Meanwhile, Els defeated Morocco's second seed Lhaj Boukartacha with 6-2, 6-4. Notably, both Sikhosana and Els have reached the final without dropping a single set in their respective matches.

The dynamic South African duo is also set to compete in the doubles final, adding another layer of anticipation to the tournament.

The winner of this historic all-South African final will earn a direct qualification slot for the prestigious Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
