TSA hosts three-day Wiphold Camp

Tennis SA hosted a three-day Wiphold training camp which brought together fourteen of the country’s most talented young female tennis players at TuksTennis,  University of Pretoria.

"We believe women's tennis can grow and produce more professional players and with support from Wiphold, we will certainly achieve this goal," - Head of Women's Tennis, Joannette Kruger.

The camp was made possible by Wiphold - sponsor and supporter of the local women's tennis.

The investment company backs a travelling squad of female players from U-14 to U18 age groups who plays selected Junior ITF events in Africa.

They also support a ‘Next Gen’ camp and tournament for the country’s emerging young female players, as well as a high-performance squad which acts as a feeder squad for the national Billie Jean King Cup team.
