Netball | Strong Start for Gauteng North Teams on Day 1 of Overs and Unders IPT Tournament

The Overs and Unders Inter-Provincial Action Netball Tournament kicked off today at HillFox Action Sports Arena, with an electric atmosphere, high-energy matches, and strong performances from teams across South Africa.

Gauteng North’s squads - including the U23 Mixed, u23 Ladies, Ladies Over 30, Ladies Over 35, Mixed Over 30, and Ladies Over 40 teams - all took to the courts with focus, passion, and teamwork, setting a strong tone for the rest of the week.

“We are extremely proud of all our teams after Day 1,” said Philippa Luis, Head of PR and Marketing for Gauteng North Action Netball. “The energy has been incredible, and it’s clear that our players are here not only to compete but to enjoy the spirit of the game. We’re looking forward to an action-packed tournament ahead.”

The tournament runs until Sunday, 25 May, with daily matches showcasing South Africa’s top Action Netball talent across all categories.
