Netball | 3rd National Deaf Netball Championship 2024

  • As September is Deaf awareness month,  these games will also be used to continue making awareness of the talent,  and leadership that our Netball players have
  • This Championship has attracted 8 Deaf Netball Clubs from Limpopo, Gauteng, Western Cape and hosting Province Northern Cape.

Deaf Netball South Africa ( DNSA), which is an affiliate of South African Deaf Sports Federation (SADSF), and Netball South Africa ( NSA) is hosting its 3rd National Deaf Netball Championship ( NDNC) in Kimberley,  Northern Cape at Straat Primary School thatstarts today, 22 September 2024- 23 September2024.

This Championship has attracted 8 Deaf Netball Clubs from Limpopo, Gauteng,  Western Cape and hosting Province Northern Cape.

As September is Deaf awareness month,  these games will also be used to continue making awareness of the talent,  and leadership that our Netball players have.  The top 4 Clubs from these Championship will be participating in the Spar Championship hosted by Netball South Africa in the month of December 2024.

DNSA,  SADSF would like to thank Northern Cape Department of Sports,  Northern Cape Academy of Sports,  Frances Baard Netball District and Re Tlameleng Special School  for their contributions,  and sponsorships towards the success of this Championship.

Netball South Africa President, Mrs Cecilia Molokwane and her team would be attending the  day two of the event tomorrow ( 23 September2024),  and give motivation talk to the players that are participating in this event.

DNSA President Ms Patricia Kgamane,  would like to wish all the eight/ 8 Clubs participating in this event the best of luck,  and may the best team win.
