“Really excited to represent this new format of hockey!”
South Africa (Women) will represent the African continent at the upcoming ‘Hero FIH Hockey5s Lausanne 2022’.
As the event is coming closer, we’ve invited players Rea Phume, Dirkie Chamberlain and Candice Manuel to play the role of “reporters” asking questions to … each other!
“Really excited to represent this new format of hockey and show the world what’ve got!” says Candice Manuel.
Dirkie Chamberlain explains that the team which she really wants to play is India: “I’ve always had a really, really good clash against India. I like the tight games!”
“I’m excited to play in an international tournament … this is my first time!”, Rea Phume indicates.
