Hockey | SA Hockey Announces SA U21 Men’s Final Selection Camp Squad for 2025 Junior World Cup
The South African Hockey Association is pleased to announce the SA U21 Men’s Final Selection Camp Squad, from which the team to represent South Africa at the 2025 FIH Junior World Cup in India will be chosen.

This announcement follows a comprehensive identification and selection process across provincial and national competitions. The final squad will carry the responsibility of representing South Africa at the Junior World Cup, one of the pinnacle events on the international calendar.
The 26-player squad features a mixture of players with international exposure and exciting newcomers who have impressed through their performances.

Speaking on the announcement, Head of High Performance Reggie Smith said:
“The Junior World Cup is a vital part of the international pathway. This group of players represents the very best of South African hockey’s next generation. The selection camp gives us an opportunity to prepare thoroughly and make the tough decisions as we build a squad that can compete on the world stage in India next year.”
The camp will culminate in the naming of the final South African U21 Men’s squad that will travel to the FIH Junior World Cup 2025.
