Gymnastics | Gym Games 2024 South Africa’s Biggest Gymnastics Gathering Set for Cape Town
Gymnastics South Africa is gearing up for its highly anticipated annual National Championships, Gym Games 2024.
For the first time in five years, Gym Games will take place in Cape Town. This year's event is expected to be the largest yet, with more than 3 200 gymnasts from across South Africa competing over 10 days.
Taking place between 19 and 29 September, Gym Games will showcase the incredible talent of gymnasts of all ages across various disciplines, including Rhythmic, Trampoline, Acrobatics, Aerobics, Parkour, Artistic Men and Women, and Rope Skipping. The competitions will take place across two venues, namely Wynberg Military Sport Complex in Wynberg and the Western Cape Sports School in Kuilsriver.
“2024 has been a year of #IncredibleGymnastics,” said Caron Henry, Participation Manager at Gymnastics South Africa. “Now is the time for gymnasts who have qualified in their provinces to wear their Provincial Federation colours to gather and show off their skills in the hope for national recognition. We’re hoping to see some awe-inspiring routines, great competition and sportsmanship across all the age groups and discipline competitions.”
Spectators can expect an unforgettable experience as gymnasts bring their A game, making Gym Games 2024 a must-see event for gymnastics enthusiasts and the general public alike.

The event is open to the public, and everyone is welcome to attend.
