Call for a National Selection Compliance Panel (NSCP)
The Executive Board (ExBo) of Cycling South Africa is calling for applications to establish a National Selection Compliance Panel (NSCP) which will compose of at least three members.
Duties to assist the VP of Sport and Tech in reviewing selection matters shall include:
- Review and report conflicts of interest within the Cycling SA selection panels
- Ensuring that fair selection practices, as outlined in the selection criteria, are implemented across all disciplines.
- Review and make recommendations for the maintenance of all selection policies on an annual ongoing basis
- Ensure that policies strike a balance between achieving Cycling SA’s objectives across different levels of participation and competition, acknowledging merits and performance, and promoting development and transformation towards 2028 and beyond.
- Reviewing all proposed team selections against the selection regulations and discipline-specific selection policies before submission to ExBo approval
