SWD Premier League Competition Kicks-off

The SWD premier league competition for the 2025/26 season will kick-off on Saturday. Eight teams will compete in a double-round home and away format whereafter the team that finishes on top of the table after the preliminary round will advance to the final. The teams that finish second and third respectively will play in qualifier to determine the other finalist.

Newly Promoted Team New Dawn Park

The defending champion, Union Stars I, will take on George at Rooirvier-rift.  Newly promoted New Dawn Park will battle it out against neighbor, Pacaltsdorp United, at the Pacaltsdorp Cricket Ground.

With all the Garden Route professional players available, an exciting weekend of cricket is predicted.
