Sussex (174/6) chased down a competitive target against Plett Pioneers (173 all out) for a 4 wicket victory.   The highlight of the match was a hat-trick by the captain of Sussex – Rowan Groenewald who bagged 5/51 whilst Ruall de Reuck made an unbeaten 57*.  For Plett Pioneers Jacques Ahrendse (80) was the top scorer of the weekend.

Pacaltsdorp United (135/5) was also challenged by George but an unbeaten partnership of 79 runs for the sixth wicket between Warren Bell (44*) and Matthew Thorne (41*) steered the defending champions home with a 5-wicket bonus point victory.

Union Stars I posted 185/9 whereafter they dismissed Knysna Cavaliers for 117 with Donovan Ekstraal (4/42) and Regan Rhode (4/17) both bagging four wickets a piece.

Harlequins Forces (74/2) thanks to a match winning bowling spell by Clayton Marewille (5/18) won by 8 wickets against Union Stars II (70 all out).
