Cricket | SWD Cricket Hosts Successful KFC Mini Cricket Seminar
South Western Districts Cricket, on Saturday in Oudtshoorn, hosted a very successful KFC provincial mini-cricket seminar.
The seminar was attended by 85 delegates – including the Manager of Mass Participation at Cricket South Africa – Ms Buhle Vaphi.
Representatives and coaches from all regional structures – including Central Karoo, Plett/Bitou, Knysna, George, Mossel Bay, Hessequa, Kannaland, Dysselsdorp and Oudtshoorn were present. The guest speaker at the seminar was SWDC Board Member, Adv Michelle Weyers, who addressed the theme of the seminar – Building the Future.
The topics for discussion included the CSA KFC Mini Cricket strategy, feedback from the National seminar, an activation plan by Playmakers on behalf of the sponsors and a coaching the coaches session.
