The 2024/25 campaign of the Six Gun Grill Garden Route Badgers could not start on Saturday after their fixture against the Mpumalanga Rhino’s in the Cricket South Africa Twenty20 competition for Division 2 at Uplands College in White River was abandoned due to heavy rainfalls on Saturday.
Limpopo Impala (89 all out) on the other hand had a disappointing start to their season when they lost at home by 73 runs to the relegated KZN Inland Tuskers (162/4).
Home fans will have the opportunity to support the Badgers on Saturday when they host the defending champions, Limpopo Impala at the Recreation Ground in Oudtshoorn. The match will start at 1pm and entrance is free.
Roan Terblanche and Khwezi Gumede are still both injured and will not be considered for selection.
