Sponsorship | Required to attend World Championships in England.
My name is Brandon Badenhorst, and I am a student at the Raports MMA Dojo in Jeffreys Bay. I have been training in martial arts for nearly three years and have developed a deep love, passion, and respect for the sport. I first began training when my partner invited me to attend a session, and from that moment on, I was hooked.

Martial arts has taught me several important life skills, including respect, discipline, patience, and how to remain calm under pressure. These values have not only shaped who I am as a person but continue to help me grow and improve every day.
Over the years, I have competed multiple times in provincial tournaments, earning a place on the provincial team on several occasions. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the national championships were cancelled each time I qualified. Despite these setbacks, I have managed to accumulate around 20 provincial medals across all three podium positions - first, second, and third - and I am determined to achieve many more in the future.
In 2024, I finally had the opportunity to compete at the national level. I participated in the Kickboxing Organisation of South Africa (KOSA) National Festival held in George and proudly brought home two bronze medals.
More recently, I competed in the Martial Arts South Africa (MASA) National Festival, held in Pretoria in June 2025. This was only my second national competition, and despite my limited experience at this level, I performed exceptionally well earning a gold, silver, and bronze medal for the Eastern Cape and becoming a South African champion. In total, I have now earned approximately 25 medals across both provincial and national events.

Due to my strong performances, I have been selected to represent South Africa at the WKA World Championships in England this coming October. This will be my first time representing our country on the international stage, a tremendous honour that I approach with great pride and determination. However, to attend, I need to raise approximately R60,000.
This sponsorship will cover a range of necessary expenses, including travel to and from England, accommodation, daily sustenance, event entry fees, internationally approved fighting gear, the official national uniform, medical insurance, a UK visa, and local transport while abroad.
The support of any individual or business, no matter how big or small, would play a vital role in helping me achieve this goal. Your contribution could help make my dream of becoming a world champion a reality and allow me to proudly represent South Africa on a global platform.
