My name is Suhyma Bapoo Ismail, and I am reaching out as a proud parent of one of 22 exceptionally talented young footballers, aged 17 to 18, who have been selected to represent one of South Africa’s renowned football teams – Jomo Cosmos – at the prestigious Madrid Youth Cup – Summer Edition 2025, taking place in Madrid, Spain from 23 August to 27 August 2025.

This international tournament is not just a competition; it’s a powerful platform for global exposure, cultural exchange, and personal development through the unifying language of football. It brings together top youth teams from around the world, and our players have earned their place through remarkable dedication, skill, and discipline.

However, with this great opportunity comes a significant financial responsibility. The estimated cost per player is R25,000, which includes:

International flights and transport

Accommodation and meals
