My name is Charlene. I am a proud, single, full-time working mom trying to put together a fundraiser for my son. I am seeking any help possible. I am raising funds and am putting together a hamper raffle to help him make this tournament and other tours.
The story.... I am writing to you with great excitement and pride about an incredible opportunity for my son, James, who has recently been selected in the IRT Softball U19 All Stars Team. James earned this prestigious spot after his performance in the recent softball tournament held on 2-5 December, 2024. Before you hit delete...... James participates in 1st team Softball, 1st team Waterpolo and Rugby at Westville Boys High. James is a dedicated and hardworking athlete who consistently goes above and beyond in his sport. His commitment is evident in his relentless work ethic, both on and off the field.
Through his dedication, James has proven that success in sports isn't just about raw talent—it's about working tirelessly, staying focused, and maintaining an unwavering commitment to improvement. Keep going.... The selection is a huge achievement for James, especially as he is only 16 years old, and he is thrilled about the chance to participate in an international tour to the Czech Republic in 2025.
It will not only be an invaluable learning experience but also a momentous opportunity for him to develop his skills as he wants to pursue this in the future. Here comes the good part.... As a young athlete, James is working hard to secure the funding needed for this once-in-a-lifetime experience, which will involve travel, accommodation, equipment, and other tour-related expenses.
