We are proud to announce that Niara-Ze Magoo (13 years old) has been selected as a team member for WUKF SA after an extensive national selection process. This is a significant achievement for Niara-Ze, and we believe it is essential to recognize and support her dedication and hard work. In South Africa, 90% of all sporting disciplines are self-funded, and the estimated cost for each competitor to participate is around R50,000. She previously participated in the 6th World Goju Ryu Karate Federation Championships held in Foligno, Italy, representing South Africa in 2022. We proudly share that she returned home with both a Gold and Silver medal! Furthermore, Niara-Ze has consistently proven her dedication and skill, having been ranked in the Top 5 students in South Africa for several years in both National and Regional rankings. Her perseverance and commitment to her sport are truly commendable, and we are excited to see what the future holds for her.
