Sponsorship | Assistance with Supporting MMA fighter
Hope you're doing well.
I’m writing to ask for your urgent support for my son, Emrick "Samurai" Hermann, a 20-year-old South African MMA champion, who has dedicated his life to pursuing his dream of becoming a professional MMA fighter on the global stage.
As you may know, the window of opportunity for MMA fighters to achieve financial success is very short. Competing solely in South Africa is not financially sustainable, and fighters like Emrick need to break into the international circuit at the youngest possible age to build a lasting career. The costs associated with traveling, training, and fighting internationally are substantial, but necessary, for him to make it in this highly competitive sport. Emrick’s path to professionalism was well underway, with 12 amateur fights completed out of the 20 required for his professional license.
Unfortunately, due to a financial setback, I can no longer support him as I was recently retrenched. Emrick had no choice but to take a job as a waiter, which has forced him to halt his intense training routine, just as his career was gaining momentum. With your support, we can help Emrick return to training full-time and continue his pursuit of an international MMA career before it's too late. He’s worked tirelessly for 14 years, and now he needs financial backing to compete in the remaining 8 fights required to achieve professional status and make a living from MMA.
