Participating in the B-race at the Night of Athletics, a World Athletics Continental Tour event in Heusden-Zolder, Belgium, Wildschutt, who is based in the United States, demonstrated his superiority over the international competition by comfortably outperforming his closest competitor, Olin Hacker from the United States, who finished in second place with a time of 13:09.94.
