Wheelchair Tennis big winners at Limpopo Sports Awards
Wheelchair tennis stole the spotlight at the Limpopo Sports Awards held at The Ranch Hotel this past weekend in Polokwane, securing four prestigious awards. Donald Ramphadi, the French Open Champion, clinched the Sportsman of the Year with a Disability for the second consecutive year. Additionally, Lesedi Malepe, who won the Johan Cruyff Africa title, received the Newcomer of the Year award.
Helen Frans Special School secured the School Team of the Year award for the second year in a row, and Patrick Selepe was honored with the Coach of the Year award for guiding Alwande Sikhosana and Leon Els to two Gold medals and a silver medal at the Africa Para Games, adding the final touch to the impressive achievements.
