TSA Super 8: Gauteng Central champions crowned

The Johannesburg leg of the TSA Super 8 junior tournament concluded on Saturday at the Ellis Park Tennis Precinct in Johannesburg. The tournament showcased some of the best junior players, with a total of 312 participants across four categories: under-12, under-14, under-16, and open, for both boys and girls.

Rudiger Dusselberg from Gauteng, the top seed in the men's event, displayed exceptional dominance throughout the tournament as he clinched the title without dropping a set. In the final, he defeated the second seed, Guy Vorwerk from KwaZulu-Natal, 7-6, 6-3, to claim the trophy.

In the women's division, Kaitlyn Ramduth, the top seed from KwaZulu-Natal, emerged victorious by defeating the second seed, Isabella Basson from Gauteng, 6-4, 6-3 to secure the title. Similar to Dusselberg, Ramduth showcased an impressive performance by reaching the final without dropping a set.
