Roland Garros wheelchair draw
The wheelchair tennis draw at Roland Garros was revealed on Monday, and South Africa’s Kgothatso Montjane is set to take on Japanese player Manami Tanaka, who currently holds the seventh spot in the world rankings. The women's first-round match between them is scheduled to kick off at around 12h30 today. The two players have met four times before, and Montjane has won all of their previous encounters.
If all goes according to plan, Montjane could face the Dutch top seed Diede de Groot in the semifinal round.
In the quads event, Donald Ramphadi has quite a battle ahead. He's drawn to face Dutch second seed and world No. 2 Sam Schroder in his opening match, which is scheduled for Wednesday.
