The Rivonia Tennis Club from Sandton has been crowned the 2023 Growthpoint Top Guns National Club Champions after defeating Great Tennis Club from Eden 2-0 in the national final on Sunday at Sun City.
This historic victory marks the first national title for the Sandton-based club, which boasts a talented team of Warwic Spence, Matthew Harris, Karyn Hambridge, and Danielle Brady Moffat. The Rivonia Tennis Club displayed incredible skill and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, and their hard work and dedication paid off in the final.
The team received a prize of R20,000 for their victory and an additional R20,000 for their club, which will undoubtedly be put towards further enhancing the club's facilities and supporting its members.
