KZN Growthpoint 2023 Super 8: Results
The KwaZulu-Natal leg of the Junior Super 8, which marked the final event under the sponsorship of Growthpoint Properties, concluded this past weekend in Durban after five days of intense tennis action. The tournament showcased some of the best South Africa's up-and-coming tennis players, with Daniel Watson from KwaZulu-Natal and Hanmaré MC Aslin from the Western Cape emerging as the winners of the men's and women's categories, respectively.
In the boys under-16 division, Simphiwe Ngwenya of KwaZulu-Natal claimed a well-deserved victory, while Alicia Taylor from the Western Cape secured the under-16 girls' title, showcasing their remarkable talent and determination.
In the under-14 category, Levi Marks from the Western Cape emerged victorious in the boys' division. Meanwhile, Roxy Bredenkamp, also from the Western Cape, captured the girls' trophy.
Lastly, in the highly competitive under-12 category, Nicholas Kruger from the Western Cape claimed the boys' title, while Lily Haley from KwaZulu-Natal emerged as the girls' champion.
