Protecting young individuals from all forms of abuse is essential to ensuring the long-term success of the broader communities and our nation. At BSI, we are committed to creating awareness of the rights of children and the abuses some face in South Africa.

At BSI, we are committed to creating awareness of the rights of children and the abuses some face in South Africa.

Women and Men Against Child Abuse (WMACA) is a non-profit Child Protection Organisation committed to fighting for the child's rights and ending the abuse of children in South Africa through a multifaceted, dynamic, and aggressive offensive against any form of abuse and gender violence.

BSI’s partnership with WMACA athletes against child abuse is a meaningful relationship that we believe can strengthen their work within the sports community.

We collaborate with WMACA to develop and implement holistic and proactive safeguarding policies and create awareness in the broader sporting community. The WMACA awareness campaign and football exhibition game aim to bring together local schools, sports clubs, media outlets, and prominent sports personalities to spread awareness of the work of WMACA and strengthen their mission. The awareness campaign will include:

  1. Awareness and Education
    • Workshop for children, parents, officials, teachers, and administrators.
  2. Football exhibition game
    • Exhibition friendly game with prominent sporting personalities pledging their support for the WMACA athletes against child abuse
    • Covered by local and national media outlets
