BSI Junior Academy Cycle 1 36-hole Championship
Congratulations to Eric Ncube, on winning the BSI Junior Academy 36-hole Championship played on Thursday 16 & Friday 17 March 2023, at Royal Johannesburg and Kensington GC.
The first round was played on the West Course with Eric shooting a Personal Best of 68 and taking the lead on Day 1 with a 4-under par score. Eric then came out the next morning to take on the East Course and he played another solid round on the Final Day, shooting another 68, setting another PB on East and finishing the tournament 8-under, and an astounding 6-shot win over the next competitor.
The win and the accumulation of points with his back-to-back Personal Bests, 68s leap-frogs Eric to 1st place in the Junior Academy Order of Merit with 39 250 points. Well done Eric and keep up the hard work in the next Cycle.
