Football | Rayners, Titus & Adams Among Winners At SFC Awards Ceremony
Iqraam Rayners was named Stellenbosch FC Footballer of the Year at the club’s 2023/24 awards ceremony, while Devin Titus and Jayden Adams walked away with the Players’ Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season awards respectively.

In a glamorous evening hosted at the Stellenbosch town hall, Iqraam Rayners walked away as the night’s big winner at the Stellenbosch FC awards ceremony after being named the club’s Footballer of the Year for the 2023/24 season.
The Bafana Bafana striker, who has scored 16 times in 38 domestic appearances this term, also took home the Golden Boot award, as well as the inaugural trophy for the RAMA Fans Player of the Season.
Devin Titus crowned a remarkable season of his own by claiming the coveted Players’ Player of the Season gong, while fellow development graduate Jayden Adams emerged with the Young Player of the Season trophy.
Sihle Nduli took home the Sportsman of the Year crown for his contributions on and off the pitch, while Stellies’ Head of Performance, Ruan Rust, was rewarded for his service by CEO Rob Benadie, who bestowed the CEO’s award upon him.
Stellenbosch FC also celebrated their DStv Diski Challenge champions, with three awards on offer to the club’s reserve team players on the night, namely the Golden Boot, Sportsman of the Season, and Footballer of the Year awards.
Mervin Boji took home the former after scoring a club-high 14 goals during the club’s triumphant Diski campaign, while vice-captain Simthandile Sishi was named Sportsman of the Season.
That left just the reserve team Footballer of the Year to be announced, and it was Kyle Bailey, in his debut season with the club, who took home the honour after a stellar season in the heart of midfield.
