BSI Football Academy will once again, proudly host the OBC Ubungani Cup - Youth Football Invitational Tournament on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 December 2022. This year’s edition will be bigger and better, with eight teams competing for the unique cup and title of ‘OBC Ubungani Cup Champions’.
The tournament will provide players from around Africa an opportunity to display their talent, with participating teams including:
BSI Football Academy;
Mamelodi Sundowns FC;
Orlando Pirates FC;
University of Johannesburg;
Kafue Celtic FC (Zambia);
Easterns LFA Select Team;
Kappa Invitational Team (consisting of players from as far as Ghana);
Highlands Park FC.
The event will be streamed exclusively on the SuperSport Schools app enabling viewers from around the world access to the games.

The tournament will also provide players with a scouting opportunity with the Sporting Clube Farense technical staff, as it precedes our International Talent ID Camp, with the Portuguese outfit, taking place from Monday 5 till Wednesday 7 December 2022.
SC Farense aim to identify players for their Reserve and 1st team structures over the five days of high-level and intense football.
The tournament and camp will take place at the BSI Football Campus in Modderfontein, Johannesburg with the goal to showcase African football talent, providing players with a competitive, professional football experience, and building relationships to strengthen the African football community.
