Looking Ahead to New Heights
The brothers faced fierce competition but are already planning their next steps. After a brief week of rest, they’ll return to the gym to prepare for the 2025 Strongman season.
Both brothers balance their athletic pursuits with other commitments. Reuben works full-time as a Cyber Security Engineer in Cape Town, while Timeon prepares for his studies in Theology at the University of Stellenbosch next year.
The Journey of a Lifetime
Their strongman training requires specialised, costly equipment, much of which they’ve had to either manufacture themselves or import. Their dream is to establish a dedicated Strongman gym with sponsorships that can support their incredible journey.
The brothers are no strangers to competitive sports, having both been South African champions in Goju Ryu Karate as teenagers. Now, they’re channelling that same determination into becoming world-class Strongmen.
