South African juniors Isabella Kruger, Gabriella Broadfoot and Devin Badenhorst got their Wimbledon Junior qualifying campaign off to a winning start on the opening day of the junior qualifying with straight-set victories.
There was no trouble for Bella who saw off Madeleine Jessup 6-2 6-1, while Gabriella survived an early wobble against Natacha Schou to win 7-5, 6-4 in the girls competition.
In the boys event, Devin breezed past Japanese world No.78 Kenta Miyoshi winning 6-2, 6-4.
