South African junior tennis star Devin Badenhorst’s impressive form continued on Friday, as he reached the final at the Curro ITF Junior Grade 2 tournament in Hillcrest, Durban.
The 18-year-old booked his spot in the final following a 6-4, 3-6, 6-1 victory over Hamza El Amine of Morocco.
The South African will face French fourth seed Antoine Ghibaudo for the title. Ghibaudo eliminated second seed Danil Panarin from Russia in straight sets 6-1, 6-2.

South African junior tennis star Devin Badenhorst advanced to the singles semi-finals on Thursday at the Samaai Junior Open when his Kazakhstani opponent Max Batyutenko retired in the first set of their quarterfinal match-up due to injury.
The 18-year-old Badenhorst, seeded third, was up 5-0 when Batyutenko decided to pull out after just nearly 20 minutes of action.

After putting up another fight in front of his home crowd, South African favourite Devin Badenhorst stumbled at the final hurdle on Saturday, as he was edged out by French player Antoine Ghibaudo in the boys' singles final at the Samaai Junior Open in Pretoria.
