Johannesburg, South Africa: Netball South Africa is pleased to announce Khanyisa Chawane as the new captain of the SPAR Proteas. Karla Pretorius has been appointed the assistant captain.

Netball South Africa (NSA) has announced its men’s and women’s squads for the upcoming FAST5 Netball World Series, hot on the heels of the thrilling Males Netball Championships.

South Africa and Malawi have named their 12-player team from their 15-player squad ahead of the 2024 SPAR Challenge International Test Series hosted by the City of Johannesburg.

The SPAR Proteas start off the year with a stern challenge as they travel to the Caribbean for the three-test Margaret Beckford Sunshine Series against Jamaica. Netball South Africa has named the squad that will do battle in Kingston. The series will take place at the National Indoor Sports Centre in Kingston on January 18, 22 and 25, 2025.
