All three Team SA swimmers in action broke South African and African records    There were two fourth-place finishes in the finals on a day when all three Team SA swimmers in action broke South African and African records at the 2022 World Para Swimming Championships in Madeira, Portugal. Kat Swanepoel came within 0.10 of a second of dipping under the one-minute barrier when she twice broke the SA and African records in the women’s SB3 50m breaststroke. SA Hockey reappoints Lenise Marais as SA Women’s U21 Head Coach South African Hockey have today announced Lenise Marais has been appointed to continue on with the work she has done with the SA Under 21 Women’s team, including leading them to the first ever African based Hockey World Cup. FINA World Championships: Team SA update (Day 4)    The 19th FINA World Championships are under way in Budapest, Hungary. In action on Tuesday morning were Clayton Jimmie in the 100m freestyle, Matthew Sates in the 200m IM and Olivia Nel in the 50m backstroke.
