21 June 2023 – The South African Football Association (SAFA) has appointed Morena Ramoreboli as head coach of the Bafana Bafana team to play in the upcoming COSAFA Cup. He will be assisted by Raymond Mdaka who helped Marumo Gallants reach the last 4 of the CAF Confederations Cup. Ramoreboli recently led Jwaneng Galaxy FC lift the 2023 Botswana Premier League title.
