The Gauteng North Figure Skating Association and Evolution on Ice are proud to celebrate the inspiring journey of Francois Hartzenberg, an 18-year-old skater with Down Syndrome who has become a true ambassador for special needs athletes in South African figure skating.

The South African Figure Skating Association (SAFSA) is excited to announce that highly-regarded international coach, Luca Demattè, will be visiting South Africa to conduct several exclusive training camps for local figure skaters where he will be focusing on Singles as well as Pairs techniques.

Gian-Quen Isaacs is not only one of South Africa’s brightest figure skating talents, but she is also a powerful symbol of what it means to represent a nation with limited resources but limitless determination.
