The Garden Badgers Rural team that will participate in the Cricket South Africa Rural tournament for Coastal provinces that will be hosted in Oudtshoorn over the period 6-9 February 2025 was announced last week.

South Western Districts Cricket is ready to host the annual Cricket South Africa Rural tournament for Coastal provinces that will be based in Oudtshoorn – starting Thursday the 6th of February.

Boland, on Sunday, clinched the rural tournament for coastal provinces, after they defeated the hosts, the Garden Route Badgers by 19 runs in a fiercely contested final that was played at the Recreation Ground.  The final was played in accordance the T20 format.
