Amajimbos settled in Cali, Columbia 21 April 2024 – The South African U17 Men’s National Team (Amajimbos), c in good spirits on Sunday, afternoon after many delays in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Amajimbos have travelled to Colombia to play two international friendly matches against the junior Los Cafeteros, as they build on their experience and international exposure ahead of the COSAFA/AFCON qualifiers later this year. The South African junior team left South Africa on Friday, 19 April 2024, and were scheduled to play their first international friendly match today (Sunday, 21 April 2024)...

1 August 2024 – The South African U17 Men’s National Team (Amajimbos) will return to camp ahead of two international friendly matches against Likuena of Lesotho on 16 and 18 August 2024.

  18 August 2024 – The South African U17 Men’s National Team (Amajimbos) beat Lesotho 3-1 in their second friendly match on Sunday morning at the UJ Soweto Campus as the team continues with preparations for the COSAFA U17 Championships to be held later this year.

  7 September 2024 – The South African U17 Men’s National Team lost 0-1 to Morocco in the last match of the FIFA U17 Talent Development Scheme (TDS) tournament out in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire on Saturday.
