Eight teams gear up for semis and prepare to battle for Division 1 and 2 titles
The Telkom Netball League round-robin stage concluded this evening, and the season certainly delivered plenty of enthralling action since the start of the competition in April. Teams have given all they could and taken on the challenges they faced in the different games they played. Four teams in Division One and Two dominated enough to earn a spot in the semi-finals, which are set to get underway tomorrow at the Heartfelt Arena in Pretoria.

Baobabs book first final against Tornados and Jaguars subdue Fireballs for tenth Division 1 final
DIVISION ONE- The Crinums overturned a first quarter five-goal deficit against the Stings and booked a spot in the Division One final. The Stings had a strong defensive start to the game, which delayed the Crinums getting onto the scoreboard two minutes into the quarter. The shooting combination and synergy between Sian Moore and Nichole Taljaard was the standout feature up front for the Stings, resulting in a 16-11 lead in the opening quarter.

The Limpopo Baobabs were exceptional in the round-robin stages, winning thirteen out of the fourteen games they played and securing a semi-final spot against the Diamonds. It wasn’t an easy semi-final against the Northern Cape team, who showed progress in every match but were outclassed by the Baobabs, booking their spot in today’s final against the Tornados.
