The eleventh Annual General Meeting of South Western Districts Cricket since the establishment of the body as a non-profit company will be held at the SWD Cricket Offices at the Recreation Ground in Oudtshoorn on Saturday July 26th 25th.
Various positions at the Board of Directors that became vacant will be filled at the meeting. The tenure (two terms of three years) of the Vice-President and non-independent director, Carlos Koeberg, has come to an end. Five nominees - Clyde Avontuur, Donovan Claassen, Luzuko Mralazi, Ms Katrisha Strydom and Mornay Stuurman were received.
Together with the tenure at office of Mr Koeberg, the tenure of Adv. Michelle Weyers has also come to an end. The two positions of non-independent directors will be filled from Donovan Claassen (Mayflower Cricket Club), Phillip Goliath (Western Hope Cricket Club), Hein Jacobs (Sussex Cricket Club), Andrew Jantjies (Thembalethu Cricket Club) and Jeanique Williams (Blanco Cricket Club).
The Financial and Commercial Director, Ross McMillan, has stepped down due to personal reasons and the Independent Nominations panel will nominate a candidate.
