South Africa: South Africa’s leading sports betting operator, Hollywoodbets, is excited to announce the renewal of its partnership with the South African Football Journalists’ Association (SAFJA) for the fourth year, reaffirming its commitment to supporting local football.

This continued sponsorship highlights Hollywoodbets' dedication to growing the sport, particularly through its backing of women’s football. The awards ceremony will take place on 15 October 2024 at the Southern Sun Hotel, Hyde Park in Johannesburg.

First established during the challenging times of the Covid-19 lockdown, the partnership with SAFJA has grown from strength-to-strength. Since its inception, SAFJA has rapidly earned credibility as a representative body for football journalists across all media platforms. Hollywoodbets takes pride in being part of this journey, having supported the annual awards since 2020, and is excited to continue backing the initiative through the 2023/24 season.

Menzi Ngcobo, Senior Sponsorship Coordinator at Hollywoodbets, said, "We are proud to continue our partnership with SAFJA and to contribute to the recognition of football talent in South Africa. These awards are an important platform for celebrating excellence in the game, especially in women’s football, which we are passionate about promoting."

SAFJA Chairman, Velile Mnyandu, said, “This is an idea which was started four years ago during COVID times and continues to grow and be bigger and better.
