Tennis South Africa   Tennis SA has announced wild card guidelines for the upcoming ITF Junior events (J2, J1 and Grade A) taking place in South Africa from July to August 2022. Download guidelines document here: http://is.gd/QOEBxE The document specifically deals with TSA wild card allocations.

Day 2 Tennis results: AJC 14 & U and 16 & U in Egypt 23Jun   Day 2 results of the African Junior Tennis Championships for Boys & Girls 14 & U and 16 & U in Cairo, Egypt. The under-14 boys and girls teams remain unbeaten in the tournament as both teams picked up their second straight wins, storming to a 3-0 victory over Tunisia and Kenya, respectively. FINA World Championships: Team SA update (Day 6) The 19th FINA World Championships are under way in Budapest, Hungary. In action on Thursday was Clayton Jimmie in the 50m freestyle where finished 7th in his heat in 22.74 and placed 43rd overall (out of 90 swimmers) and didn’t qualify for the semi-finals. Matthew Sates, who finished 8th in his first World Championships final on Wednesday night, finished 10th in his 100m butterfly heat in 54.17 which placed him 41st (out of 65 swimmers) overall and did not qualify for the final. FINA World Championships: Team SA update (Day 5)  The 19th FINA World Championships are under way in Budapest, Hungary. In action on Wednesday morning was Emma Chelius in the 100m freestyle where she swam a 55.39 for 22nd fastest from the heats. In action in the evening is Matthew Sates, in the 200m IM final.   “I keep reminding him that the focus is Birmingham [Commonwealth Games].
