JOHANNESBURG: Cricket South Africa (CSA) has today announced a strong 15-player squad that will tour Ireland for a One-Day International (ODI) and T20 International (T20I) series between 03 – 17 June in the city of Dublin.
In what will be the Proteas Women’s first round of fixtures since the semi-final exit in the 2022 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in New Zealand, Delmi Tucker is handed her first ever call-up, while there are also a total of five changes to the World Cup playing fifteen.

The dates and teams for the 2023 Over-50s World Cup, to be held in Cape Town, South Africa from March 6–20, have been confirmed.
All 12 teams that participated in the 2020 edition of the tournament – which was sadly curtailed by COVID-19 after just two-and-a-half matches – will return in 2023 and will be joined by newcomers the United States and the United Arab Emirates.
The Opening Ceremony will be held on March 5 before the first round of matches takes place on March 6.

In 50 Days’ time Team South Africa begin their Commonwealth Games challenge in Birmingham. The games initially awarded to Durban will be the 22nd hosting of the multi-sport event and the 7th staging of field hockey at the event.
South Africa have competed in every event along with Australia, Canada, England, India, New Zealand and Scotland, with a best finish of 4th in 2010 and 2014. New Zealand are the defending champions having stunned Australia in the event in 2018 on the Gold Coast.
